I was looking at two different Motherboards which were the ASUS Sabertooth Z77, and the ASRock Z77 Extreme6. I am getting an Intel 3570k Ivy Bridge CPU to go with these motherboards. I've been looking at both of these and I just can't make a decision. I've heard amazing things about the Sabertooth and the price is about 65$ more but I'm willing to spend that more, and I also heard amazing things about the ASRock Extreme6.

The Main thing I want with these motherboards is the one that will last the longest technology wise, the one that'll have the best future expansion.

ASRock Extreme6: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-157-...

ASUS Sabertooth: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Also, I wanted to ask, what RAM would be the best to go with for overclocking capabilities? I had one in mind but if there's a better one let me know below.

Thanks Again for the help :wahoo:

That RAM is fine.

I would go for the Asus Sabertooth over the Asrock any day. It's just a better made MB.

I would go with the Asus Sabertooth as well. It is a great motherboard. I have always used Asus once I had built a few systems and I am very happy with their performance. The Sabertooth is a high quality components (military-standard), TUF series motherboard. I would go for that hands down. Good Luck!!

The memory should be fine. Have you considered a little more ram for your system? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

This might be worth a consideration as you like the brand but you could increase you memory to a little better amount for gaming and multitasking. Either way you are ok. Good Luck!
