Gigabyte mobo and this psu compatible?

From what I understand the atx connector from the psu needs to be compatible with the mobo, ive been looking around to see if maybe my GA-880GM-USB3 : http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3412#sp is compatible with this corsair psu : http://www.scan.co.uk/products/650w-corsair-enthusiast-series-650txv2uk-85-eff-80-plus-bronze-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-quiet-fan-atx-v

From my understanding if I am wrong, could someone simply state if they are compatible and if so why/ why not please and thank you in advance.

  1. Yes, the 650TX V2 comes with a 20+4pin connector and a 4+4pin connector, and your motherboard has a 24pin and a 8pin connectors so you should be fine with that PSU.
