Icon still in add remove programs xp

Software appears to be gone ,but icon is still in add-remove and the bottom bar . The icon is Intel(R) Extreme Graphics ,is says 2005 but I never put it on my computer . Have surfed for an answer and all I can find is answers for Geeks ,if I were a Geek I would't be on this site asking for help . What Microsoft says to do is not on regedt32 ,I have XP # 3 , don't want to delete something I might need .This says you have to put in a sub-category , those choice's mean nothing to me so I just picked one .

I believe this is not the section this should be posted, the Windows XP section should be. Anyway, try restarting the system. If that does not solve, try running the said program, sometimes they are just leftovers. If it says that it cannot find said program, it means that the icon or shortcut is just a leftover and can be safely deleted.
