Motherboard and cpu compatibility

I have an older model Asus Motherboard model P5B LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX ( Item # N82E16813133030). I want to upgrade the processor listed above (Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 Allendale 2.2GHz LGA 775 65W) with one of the highest compatible speed. Could you tell me how many GHZ this model can handle? Can you recommend any CPU's? One of the ones I was looking at is an Intel Pentium E5800 Wolfdale 3.2GHz LGA 775 65W Dual Core SLGTG. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Sad thing about trying to get a fast socket 775 cpu - they ain't cheap. Think about going z77 & Ivy Bridge.
