Mouse aligning issue

I have downloaded 4 different games through Steam.Mouse works fine in game.But In the menu if I want to click something i have to go down and to the right.I have 2 games from disk and they work just fine.Can someone PLEASE help me figure out this issue.I have messed around with the resolution and it didn't fix it.

ibuypower,i tried a dell and logitech they all did the same thing

Hi try holding the shift key whilst moving the mouse and see if that help. Let me know.

It defo sounds like your resolution but you state youve tried that. Try playing the game in window mode and see if that helps and if it dosent try the site below which should help you hopefully

how do you get the game in windows mode?go ahead and tell me how to do the resolution so i know that i did it at the right place.I want to make sure i have tried everything

Most NEWER games have a window option. If they don't create a shortcut to the game, then right click on the shortcut and select properties. Then in the Target field, put one of the following things at the end of the line:
-w
-win
-window
-windowed

This will work for SOME games, not all. Try all of them. If it doesn't work, there's not much you can do but change the resolution from inside the game so it matches your monitors resolution, or is worse than your monitors resoution.

BTW, your target field should look somewhat like this but with your own game:

"C:\Program Files\Game Company\Game.exe" -window

42" hdtv,the resolution is not even 1080 p though
