Can older OS work on all new mobo's

Ok this may sound dumb but I had read somewhere that older 32 bit OS's like XP and Vista won't work on a HDD tha runs on 6 GBps or a mobo that has only 6 gbps sata ports is that true.

All u need is the drivers, if needed.

They come with the OS and can be downloaded from your mobo maker.
