Currently in my gaming system I have:

Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: AMD Athlon II X4 640
Memory: 4GB
HDD: 1TB
Graphics Card: ASUS EAH 5750 1GB

I am currently looking at ways to improve my computer to further my gaming pleasure. :sol:

By the end of this year I am hoping to have

OS: Windows 7
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K
Memory: Don't yet know. It's what need help with.
HDD: 1TB ( Will probably upgrade if needs be )
Graphics Card: Radeon HD 6950

Do you think this is a good upgrade that will keep me up-to-date with what ever Next-Gen games throw at me?

The main thing I need to know is what Motherboard and RAM should I get to go with these specs?

All help thanked in advance!

Well depending on your budget, I will tell you my personal favorite brands to go with. Asus motherboard for sure. Make sure the processor fits and that it supports your other hardware. As far as memory goes, go with Corsair or Kingston, maybe OCZ. Tom's hardware has some pretty good reviews and comparisons in different price ranges you can search for that. All I can tell you is that you make sure to start with the motherboard and cpu first.
