Welcome to Tom's Forum! :)

Yes it will fit. The Maximus V Formula is not a 'true' EATX and it's only 0.5" (13mm) longer than a standard ATX MOBO. A true EATX is 12" (305 mm) x 13" (330 mm), a standard ATX is 12" (305 mm) x 9.6" (244 mm), and the M4F is 12" (305 mm) x 10.1" (257 mm).

Edit/ the limit is 12.25" (311mm) x 10.37" (263mm) ; actual pan measurements. Some folks have actually modded their cases for larger MOBOs...

jaquith,

Do you think a Maximus V Extreme will fit in that case or the Corsair 650 Case? I thought I was going to have to go with the Full Tower Corsair 800. :D

Thank you for your opinion!

jaquith,

Thank you for your information and time! I was not sure if I wanted a full height tower or not. The Corsair 650 was what held my attention the most. Now I know it will fit although it does not claim eatx status.

Thanks again!
