ASUS P8P67 PRO (REV 3.1) will not load more than 4 GB of RAM!

I need some help. Anytime i plug in my other module of 4 GB RAM, the motherboard never boots up. It simply lights up, and nothing happens. However when I take the other dim of RAM out, and leave it at just 4 GB of RAM, it starts up fine. Can someone please help understand why this mobo won't pick up my other dim of RAM?

Hi there, do u have x64bit windows?

Reset the CMOS memory the right way as is described in the motherboard manual using the clear CMOS link with the power cord unplugged.
And when the battery is out, press the power button to discharge all the electricity from the system.
