Crossfire Ati 5770 NOT Running fair load

I have had 2 Ati 5770's for a couple months now and have recently bought a few of the splinter cell games. For example, splinter cell convinction. The framerate on the cutscenes are about 30- and the game itself is 60-. I feel like I should be getting a lot more ESPECIALLY if I overclocked them a tiny bit. I tried with and without overclock the same. I am using MSI Afterburner to compare loads. Loads stay to about 50 both cards. My setting is 1080P High settings. No V-sync. NO AA. I tweaked the settings and still got the same result. Here are my specs:

Crossfire X Ati 5770
8 GB DDR 3 RAM
1 TB HD

Are your graphic's drivers for crossfire up-to-date? Also, are you positive that these games support SLI/Crossfire?

use driversweeper to remove all old drivers and install the latest drivers. make sure you have the crossfire bridge installed.
