show me how to hook up my laptop to put in my wireless wi-fi mimi card .show me what plate on the bottom of my laptop to open

Look, how is anyone going to tell you which hatch to open on the bottom without even knowing which model of laptop you have.

The relevant one will have a mini-PCI socket in it and loose antenna connectors.

Of course this overlooks the fact that some laptop brands go to some lengths to ensure that you cannot add a mini-PCI wireless adapter unless bought from them.

Model number would be more useful. However HP laptops are known for being designed to force you to use only internal (mini-PCI) wireless adapter of HP brand. So contact HP and see what they can offer.

You might instead look at using a USB connector type wireless adapter which will probably be cheaper -- models from Linksys or Netgear come to mind.
