Worried about my PSU compatibility with CPU

I just purchased this: Thermaltake TR-500 TR2 ATX Power Supply - 500W, 120mm Fan, Active PFC

although mine says Non PFC.

On the box it says it supports i5 and i7 processors, but I am planning on getting an AMD Phenom II x4 965. I didn't notice I guess. It will be fine for my GPU, but will it work with my CPU?

Pfc has been discussed before. The efficiency rating is more important for energy comsumption. Power supplies aren't rated for cpus.

Pretty much every PSU should work with any CPU/GPU.

Normally, you should worry about PSU when you buy/upgrade GPU, so relax buddy, your PSU is good and shouldn't give you problem running AMD Phenom II x4 965.
