What cpu can my dell optiplex gx280 handle

I have a stock dell optiplex gx280 small form factor and i was wondering what the is the best compatible cpu i can buy for it?

Is that your motherboard? If yes, then it has LGA 775 but it doesn't support dual cpu like Pentium D, so you're stuck with your current Pent. 4 and Celeron D CPU...

As happens with most pre-built OEM computers there isn't alot you can do for upgrading the RAM and CPU. Other then gutting the whole thing and putting in a new mobo, ram, and cpu your pretty much stuck. If you were going to do all that you would be better off trtashing the Dell and just building your own.
