The MSI H77MA-G43 does not support SLI mode. It does support 2-way CrossFire mode though.

SLI mode requires at least two PCIe x16 slots with at least eight lanes in each slot.

The PCIe 2.0 x16 slot on the MSI H77MA-G43 has only four lanes so it cannot support SLI mode.
  2. I looked at the specs for it and the 2.0 is labeled as 4x not 16x.
  3. Cool, thanks! Where would my EVGA GTX 560 SE go then? 3.0 or 2.0?
  4. 3.0 as it has all 16 lanes and of course it is backwards compatible.
  5. On Intel chipset motherboards the primary PEG (i.e. PCI Express Graphics) slot is the one closest to the CPU.
  6. K that would be the PCI-E 3.0 slot. Thanks!
