AMD Phenom 9600 BottleNeck ask.

Hi there guys, I need some help.
This is my rig:
AMD Phenom(tm) 9600 Quad-Core Processor, (4 CPUs), ~2.81GHz OC
2x2 4GB Kingston HyperX RAM PC1066 5-5-5-15 Latency
Hard Drive:
Barracuda 7200.10 SATA 3.0Gb/s 250-GB Hard Drive
Video Card:
Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2GB 900/1375 Overclocked.
Benq V2200 Eco Led 21'5"
Sound Card:
Realtek ALC889A
Logitech normalito
Trust 1600DPI laser usb.
Mouse Surface:
Operating System:
Windows XP Professional SP3 // Windows 7 Ultimate x32

Computer Case:
Tacens Victoria Extreme
Corsair GS 700W.

I expected to have more fps on BF3, but It seems that my cpu is bottlenecking my whole system, what do you think? I'm minding on getting the Phenom II x6 1100t for my pc, what cpu do you recommend me?

just about any modern CPU will run the game, unfortunately the phenom I was never modern even when launched. A phenom II 955 is currently AMD's best gaming CPU since no games will use the two extra cores on the x6 series CPU. OC a phenom II x4 would be your best bet for better gaming performance.

New info... when i run BF3 high/ultra my cpu is fulltime 100% and my gpu 40-70% usage.. So, is my cpu bottlenecking?
