Cpu temp

hi i just bought a intel i7 2600k and a ASRock Z68 Extreme7 GEN 3 mobo. and i get a strange temp on core #1 its almost always 10 degrees higher than the other cores. why is it like that?

    Core 1 gets the max use and would have the higher temp. - I have an older i7-920 and the temp on Core 1 on mine is usually 5 degrees higher than on Core 2.

    What are the actual temps?
  2. the acctual temps are:

    core #0 30c
    core #1 42c
    core #2 32c
    core #3 33c

    and im using a thermal take frio as cooler.
    in load the temps are in low 50s and core #1 is at 60 - 61.

    These temps are fine. No cause for alarm. Even the load temps are fine.

    You did a good job with the CPU/heatsink installation!

    Good! My CPU temps are very similar to what you posted, and widely accepted as good temps.
