Nvidia 8800 gts not working

my onboard vidcard is a 7050pv/630a i plugg in my 8800gts and load drivers in safemode...according to driver update i have the newest drivers avail.but after the inital BIOs message all i get is blackscreen.im running vista 32 bit any hints?

Did the card work before? You have the power requirements for it? Try the card in a different computer to see if it's the card?

Is this a 320/640mb or a 512mb version. Chances are the card is bricked or needs to be oven baked.
