Hi all, Ive decided to purchase a new pc and having used pcspecialist.co.uk before and being very satisfied, i would like to use them again. I would really appreciate some suggestions as to what you consider as being the best configuration for the money. Below are the essential requirements....

Budget Range: £1250 (pounds)

System Usage: gaming, movie converting, multi-tasking

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers

Preferred Website: www.pcspecialist.co.uk

Country of Origin: UK

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU

Overclocking: Yes (if chip allows)

SLI or Crossfire: No

Here is the link to the configuration page: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/intel-sandy-bridge-pc/

If anyone is kind enough to configure for me, if you press the 'proceed' button at the end after configuration it will list the selection making it easy to copy and paste. I would be very appreciative of any suggestions. How would you spend the £1250 if it was your build? Would you include a ssd for the os? Would you choose an i5 or i7? Nvidia or Radeon?

thanks

^ What is your monitor's resolution ??

Based on the parts available there

CPU - i5 2500K if you want to overclock or even the i5 2400 would do

Mobo - P8P67 - Not the LE version if you want to overclock

RAM - 8GB DDR3 - Samsung would be fine, but the Kingston would be better

CASE - HAF 912

PSU - Corsair 650TX

Video card - HD 6950/ GTX 560 Ti

SSD - Your budget allows for a SSD,... OCZ Vertex 3 60GB

HDD - 500GB/ 1TB 7200RPM drive

CPU Cooling - Titan Fenir...
