Im having a strange problem that ive nvr seen before. I have a Asus P8P67 and a I5 2500K. Now i use to have 8gb ddr3 1600mhz ram in it but today i ordered 8 more. Well when i put one in. My SSD free space shows up at 9gb but when i add the extra 4gb to make it 16 it shows up as 2.36gb of free space. What in the world would cause this? My SSD is the cursair M4 64gb. So i need all space i can get lol

It's possible that with the increase in RAM, windows went and increased your page file and/or hibernate file. If you don't use the hibernate feature, disable it and try limiting your page file size instead of letting windows manage it.

To make hibernation unavailable, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator.
When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
At the command prompt, type powercfg.exe /hibernate off, and then press ENTER.
Type exit and then press ENTER to close the Command Prompt window.
