dma33 hdd in 66/100?

will my old ata33 hdd be useful in a newer motherboard
with only ata66 or ata100 connectors?? is it the
same wires/contacts?

Yes! don't worry, it is exactly the same connector.
Your old HD will fit on any IDE connector.

Plus, it will work in UDMA33 mode, which is quite good.
