16gb of ram at 800mhz

Hello, I just built a new rig and i have Muskin Blackline 2x8gb 1600mhz ram; but it is running at 800mhz. How can i fix this problem? ive tried changing it in the bios but no luck.

System Specs:

Processor: I7 3770k

Ram: Muskin Blackline 2x8gb 1600mhz 9-9-9-24

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77X UP4 TH

DDR3= double data rate

800x2=1600MHz

It is running at the correct speed. DDR memory makes 2 IO transfers per reference clock. In proper terms it would be 1600MT/s because it makes 1.6 billion transfers per second. The actual IO bus frequency is only 800Mhz
