~900$ first time build help

Hello everyone, I'm going to be purchasing a new build pretty soon, but I'm not sure what I should buy. Any help would be appreciated.


Approximate Purchase Date: Within a couple of weeks


Budget Range: <900$ CAD would be recommended, A little over would be fine too.


System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming would be my top priority, I play games like WoW most likely going to get Guild wars 2, SWTOR and BF3 when they come out as well, would like to be able to play those on decent settings. also surfing the web, and the occasional movie.


Parts Not Required: I have a keyboard and mouse already, currently using my 37(?) inch T.V. as my monitor, the resolution is at 1360x768 so an upgrade would be nice, but not necessary.


Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.ca, ncix.ca or any other website that will ship to canada. The cheaper the better.


Country of Origin: Canada


Parts Preferences: I would prefer an Intel cpu, solely because I have heard that they perform better than AMD's. Also Nvidia would be nice, definately not required though.


Overclocking: Preferably


SLI or Crossfire:No / Maybe (most likely no)


Monitor Resolution: As stated before, the monitor I am using is 1360x768


Additional Comments: None really.

well i honestly dont feel like navigating canadian sites right now, but directcanada.com is also one to look at.

a typical build in this price range uses an i5-2500k + a p67 or z68 mobo, and one of the following graphics cards:
hd6870
gtx 560 ti
hd6950
gtx 570
