Pick a motherboard for my build

As title says, unsure of the best motherboard for my build, looking to spend about £70-80 on the mobo, here is the build:

XFX HD 7870
i5 3570k stock
Corsair vengeance 8gb 1600mhz
1TB 6Gb/s 7200rpm hdd
Corsair TX650W PSU v2
Samsung S222AB DVD RW drive
Win7 home 64bit

and I'm going to be fitting it into the Antec 300 case

More about pick motherboard build
  1. U can definitely use this one -> ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 -> ... Latest Z77...

I just build PC with this mobo and I like the BIOS, its looks like this.

    Works as expected @ 4.4GHz

That is a great mobo choice for the CPU. It has good power design for OC.

stock cooler, am not overclocking :) thanks for all the info! I'll look into the z77 boards, what about this:

  4. Its OK mobo.
  5. Why not OC?
  6. I just don't want to, I'm fine with stock specs and stock cooler,
  7. Asrock z77 Extreme4 is the best you can get unless you wanna spend more than $160. Even if you dont over clock, at least the option to do it is there if you change your mind, plus it comes loaded with other features. It is by far the best board for your money.
  8. Would this be compatible and work well though? That z77 extreme4 board is like £35 more than this

    gigabyte z77-d3h board^

    the other option is

    gigabyte z77x-d3h board^

    which is £20 more
