Man, spend a little more. The monitor is 23.6" for $150 that's good stuff. You didn't specify whether you want Intel or not. Going Intel and wanting overclocking will put you at 2500k which is $220 by itself then you need a motherboard which is probably $320 minimum already. With AMD you can get a quad core black edition for overclocking for $120 and an AM3+ motherboard for around $100. Bulldozer will release next month or so but you can hold on to the Phenom II x4 955. It has good performance and will last. The power supply can handle another 6850 if you want to add another one. The motherboard supports x16 single or x8 dual so you're good to go. You may change anything you like but this is a good start.
  2. Yeah, What I would do in your situation is go with a phenom II, and then get BullDozer when it comes out, if its any good, and f not, upgrade to something such as the 2500k( obv. you'd need new mobo)
  3. And get gtx 560
