ATI 7 series release?

Hi all was just curious if anyone had any info on the new 7xxx cards release dates as im looking for a new gpu,most probably a 6970 or if the 7 series is close i could wait lol,any info would be great thanks.

i believe AMD and nvidia want to release their next series in Q4 this year but some rumor suggest that both company will be push back to Q1 2012
