Hello,

Just did a new build with the aforementioned motherboard. Did a full install of all drivers/utilites from the CD(probably a mistake), and I wondering which of these utilities I can uninstall and which ones I should keep.

ASRock eXtreme Tuner
ASRock SmartConnect
ASRock XFast RAM
XFast Lan
XFastUSB
VIRTU MVP

I'm also wondering if there are any specific drivers I should update from their website.

Thank you.

You don't need any of those utilities for your system to work. Those are all add-on applications that may or may not be useful depending on how you use your computer. As long as you loaded the Drivers, that is all you need.

The necessary drivers consist of:
The Realteck audio driver (for your on-board sound to work)
The INF driver (motherboard)
The Intel Management Engine driver
The Broadcom Lan driver (for hardwired internet)
The ASMedia SATA3 Driver (for 3rd party SATA ports)
The Intel USB 3.0 driver (for the Intel USB3.0 ports to work)
The ASMedia USB 3.0 driver (for the 3rd party USB3.0 ports to work)
The VGA driver (if you are using onboard video)

To be absolute certain you have the latest drivers, it is always wise to download and install the online drivers from the Asrock website for your board. They will be (in some case) the latest version. The ones that come on the DVD may be outdated. But they will still work.
