Motherboard - ASUS m4a88TD-M EVO USB3 CPU AMD phenom 2 x4 965 RAM Kingston DDR3 2GB x3 Cooling - Coolmaster vortex plus CPU fan Graphics - ASUS ATI AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR5 PSU - 400w I would love any changes or improvements?

You'll just need to either add one more 2GB stick or remove one 2GB stick from the setup, it will function with 6GB no doubt about that, but it's better to have an even number of stick to populate the RAM slots when using Dual Channel memory, esp with AMD CPUs....
I'd also go for a 550W or 600W PSU to be on the safe side for later on.

Yes it will work but 3x2gb ram is for LGA1366 triple channel, 2x 2gb or 2 x 4GB is better setup for your board that only supports dual channel.

Do not ignore the PSU and get a nice quality one. DO NOT get a generic one.
Please post the PSU you intend to buy so we could help you in separating the bad from the good apples.
