EVGA 460 GTX SE IGB vs EVGA 550 GTX Ti SC Which is better?

Hey Guys,

So I finally got everything locked and loaded with my rig except for my VGA. I would love to get my hands on an EVGA GTX 580, but right now that doesn't look like it's going to happen, so I have to make a choice between these two.  

(I couldn't find a side by side comparison.)

So on the surface, they look about the same to me (I'm not very computer savvy, I just like to kill things!  ) but I did notice this:

* NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti

192 CUDA Cores


* NVIDIA GTX 460 SE
-----------------------
648 MHz GPU
288 Processing Cores

I heard a lot of negative feedback about the 460 SE, being a "gimped" version of the 460 GTX, but not so much about the 550 Ti SC. Does this mean the 550 is better?

So if you guys had to choose between these two, which would you go for?
