Computer shuts down during start-up

Hello,
I have a Windows 7 Home Premium PC that shuts down during start-up. The weird part is that each time I turn it on, it will stay on a bit longer than the previous time. It takes about 10 -15 tries before it stays on for good. Anyone have a suggestion?

Could be a capacitor failing in the PSU. After multiple starts, it has charged enough times to restore its integrity.
