More about core 2500k cooler
  1. Thats normal for 75 C for GPU its stable for sure :)

    happens on my 570

As far as that goes my i5-2500k runs on a CM hyper 212 you can have stable temp at stock fan for 4.5 ghz you can get stable 4.8 on CM 212

This one you have can get 5 im sure.

You are playing Crysis 2 on the integrated GPU? What settings are you using to get playable framerates?

Anyway, I would recommend the 212 Plus over the one you linked in your OP

This is the old design for $25: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065

This is the new design for $35: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099

I have the old design and it works great. The new design offers new heatpipe arrangement so that there is better thermal contact. The $10 difference is probably worth it.
  3. The hyper is the best bang for buck option.
If you want em big, and got 90. Bucks to waste then the Silver Arrow. But why not waste the money on a gpu like the 9800Gt/6670 or 6770?

Remember air coolers can't give you temps lower than your ambient.
  4. I use the Cooler Master Hyper 212 + on my Intel® Core™ i7-2600K and I am very happy with it. Unless you are trying for a top of the line overclock the 212 is a great cooler.
