Cant find crossfire x tab?

Hi

I should get my second PowerColor HD 6850 1GB tommorrow but i cant find the crossfireX tab in my catalyst control center so im worried there might be a problem.

Does anyone know if the tab only appears once i have the second card installed or if it should be there now?

You will not see the crossfireX tab until you install the 2nd card, bridge and reinstall the drivers. If you don't have a system capable of crossfire, that tab does not show up.

OK thanks for the quick reply. Im pretty sure my board supports croosfireX, well i hope it does considering it has it written on it.

Could any one tell me if it will support 2x PowerColor HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 in crossfire?

Yes it does. It says "Expansion Slots:2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slots (Single@x16 or dual@x8/x8 mode or dual@x16/x1 mode)" which means you can run two 6850's at 8x mode which is enough to saturate the 6850's performance. You're good.
