Hello, I have purchased this graphics card, http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-asus-gtx-560-40nm-4008mhz-gddr5-gpu-810mhz-shader-1620mhz-336-cores-2-x-dvi-i-mhdmi

My Trouble is that My 500W PSU only has one Molex 4 pin connector available, however I am not sure what this card needs. It comes with a single adapter with too molex making 1 six pin. And there are two 6 pin slots on the card. Can I buy a molex splitter? Will that be sufficient? Please help, thanks.

I really don't want to have to send this card back, is upgrading the PSU an option? :??:

If PSU upgrade is an option, what would you recommend and how hard are they to swap out?

you can buy another molex adaptor and use it to draw power off 4 unused molex from your psu, that should make it run fine, it needs 150 watts of juice though, but those 12 v rails (your molex) need to have 30 amps of power.

first off i need a list of the hardware you're running in total in your pc e.g. i have a phenom II x4 955, this needs 125 watts to run optimally.

so list how much and what you have exactly name by name for each component, motherboard, ram, graphics card etc...

then look at the psu, there should be a diagram such as the one found on this site ( http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cases/display/fsp-psu.html )

write up what it says on the side of your psu.

Okay, I unable to look at it at the moment, but before all I could find was one spare molar connector so I think there is no way of connecting it.

What would you reccomend as a good PSU then to run this card? And does it need dual rails? Cheers

From what I can remember the CPU is an AMD Athlonn ll X640 Quad Core 3GHz.

Thanks for all your help.
