Looking for Fast PCI-X Mobo

Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade a PC with lots of old (but expensive) PCI and PCI-X expansion cards. [Replacing those with newer PCIe cards would be wildly expensive.] As such, I'm hoping to find a list of the fastest available motherboards that support PCI and PCI-X. [The more exp slots the better.] Discontinued boards are fine - I'm happy to shop eBay. Does such a list exist? Or a master list with granular filtering options?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

ps. I'm upgrading a Tyan K8W Thunder, FWIW. Something that will work with the same PSU, etc., would be helpful.

To be clear, when I say "fastest mobo," I mean mobo + fastest supported CPU. I simply want to build the fastest PCI / PCI-X system possible to house my legacy expansion cards. I did not mean to suggest that my current CPU (dual Opteron 248) and RAM must be preserved. Sorry for any confusion.
