I recently purchased an EVGA GTX 580 SC, and have not had any issues. I have overclocked the card slightly up to 850 MHZ core, and decided to test in Furmark. I realized with such a tiny OC, I would probably not have any issues. However, I cannot break 10 fps even with the /gtx500ocp option ticked in Furmark 1.9.

Looking at the recently submitted scores, there are a bunch of systems with less powerful GPUs and CPUs scoring 2-3 times higher than me. Is this a known issue with the latest nVidia drivers (275.27)?

Games run smoothly, but now I'm wondering if I'm not using the card to its fullest potential. Anyone have any similar experience with the GTX 580 and Furmark?

I would rely on the benchmarks built into the assorted games you use, for now....; migh tbe an issue with your Furmark settings, config....

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, like I said, games run smoothly so I'm not complaining there. I'm just worried that I should be seeing even better framerates in games. For instance, Witcher 2 runs 35-45 fps on highest settings even with ubersampling enabled, which is great...but the Furmark thing still bugs me. Gahhh!
