Which runs cooler?

Intel® Celeron® M 360 Processor (1.40 GHz, 400MHz FSB, 1MB Cache)

or

Intel® Pentium® M 715 Processor (1.50 GHz, 400MHz FSB, 2MB Cache)?

I'm guessing both are the Dothan core. The Pentium M will probably
give longer battery life, all else being equal, but the Celeron M does
have less circuitry (1/2 the cache) so will probably run slightly
cooler. Still, both should run pretty cool. Doubt there is a huge
difference.

Thing is though, the M715 will speedstep down severely in normal
activity. I see 500/600Mhz on this one.

The M360 will not step down at all.

Therefore does pure clock = more heat?

T.

The Celeron M 330 and 360 (both 1.4GHz use the Banias core)

THe Celeron M can be made to run slower using 3rd party applciations,,
but obviously not quite as efficient as speedstep.
