Purpose of build? I assume gaming; then you can easily downgrade to i5-2500k - same as i7-2600k, just 100 MHz slower, 2MB less cache and no hyperthreading. Also, $100 cheaper. GTX 580 seems like an overkill... I'd go with a GTX 560 Ti or a Radeon HD 6950. Do you plan to SLI/Crossfire in the future?

What screen resolution are you looking at? 1920x1080?

RAM: Suggest 8GB (2x4GB) - G.Skill Ripjaws 1600 MHz.

Operating System: Windows 7 x64.. any version you find sufficient...

Motherboard: the P8P67 is good

Power Supply: depends on whether you'll add a second GPU in the future. I'd go with Corsair, Antec or Coolermaster, 550W and up... depends on what GPU you'll end up picking.

So, more data needed, but this should be good for now!
