Anybody have any thoughts on this drive? I have the old Zip650 4x4x24, and I love it. I'm thinking of building a new system in the near future, and I'm wondering about this drive. Thoughts, links, opinions greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Plextor's 12/10/32 CDRW is going for under $250 at buy.com I have used this CDRW and found it to be excellent and it will save you around $30 over Iomega

I agree with Wisill. Go for Plextor, they're very reliable.

Just wondering how either of these two actually compare to Aopens new 12x writer. I'm gonna be picking one up here within a few weeks and am looking for a reliable music CD creator.

I think the AOpen doesn't use Burn-Proof technology, but I don't know about the iomega, anyway, I suggest you to go for the Plextor, it's great.

From what I've heard, there have been many problems with the Acers.

Stay away from AOpen as if it were The Plague. My drive didn't work (from what I hear mine's not an exception), and dealing with their support and return department has been a nightmare.
