How do i update my gpu driver

I know the general gist of it. I'm using a Nvidia and windows 7. I'm not quite sure how to check what nvidia card it is. Can you tell me how to do that first?

You can either download GPU-Z or go to Start>Run>DxDiag>Display tab and there you can check what GPU you have

You can also go to your control panel and under system and security then click device manager- display adapters and it will tell you what you have for a gpu also you can right click on it and update the driver.
