Is this safe to do?

Hey all
I'm in the middle of building my pc and the only thing that I need to order now is the graphics card. I'm planning on getting the Gigabyte Radeon HD6870 Super Overclock Edition. And from what iv seen it has 2 pci-e 3 pin connectors. My power supply is a OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular which comes with 1 pci-e 6 pin connector and 1 pci-e 6+2 pin connector. My problem is that i have lost the pci-e 6 pin connector and I have no idea where it is. And I saw that you can get molex to pci-e adaptors and I was just wondering if I can use one pci-e/molex adaptor and the pci-e connector that comes with the psu to power the graphics card?
Sorry if that doesn't make much sense I'm quite new to this stuff

Yes! Looks like you don't have a choice.
Might want to leave parts in the bag next time that's supplied with the psu lol!

Haha yeah I have no idea how I lost it, but because I have no choice I just wanted to make sure it was safe to do it that way. Thanks for the help mate
