Hello, I have the HAF X case with 4 fans will this motherboard be any good P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 but it says on the asus site:

2 x CPU Fan connector(s) (4 -pin)
2 x Chassis Fan connector(s) (1 x 4 -pin, 1 x 3 -pin)
2 x Power Fan connector(s) (3 -pin)

Is this any good or should I've went with the P8Z77-V PRO motherboard instead for 4 fans as it says this on the site.
4 x Chassis Fan connector(s)
1 x Optional Fan connector(s)

They are both good. You should connect your fans to the PSU not the motherboard

Will the HAF X fans connect to this PSU: 'Corsair CMPSU-850AXUK Professional Series Gold 850W Power Supply'

Also If I connect my fans to the PSU would I be able to control them or would they be completely different. Because I wish to play games.

Fans connected to the PSU will run at full speed unless you have something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Personally fans running at full speed don't bother me but they could bother you. Bigger fans tend to be quieter than smaller fans
