Hi guys
im about to buy a XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card ( http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/XFX+... ) .. however after some research i have come across many different power requirements for this card
on the ati/amd website it states a 450w psu with 26A or more on the +12v rail(s) .... however on some sites its stating 500w with 40A or more on the +12v rail(s)
heres my current psu :" 650W Arianet Black Series Silent ATX2.2 Power Supply"( http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Power+Supplie... ) ... and as you can see there are dual +12v rails with 19A on one rail and 20A on the other
ive safely run a XFX GTS250 using this psu without any problems.... so should the XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 be ok with this psu ?
finally aria.co.uk have two versions of this card at the same price.... in regards to cooling ect which would be the prefered model
1) XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card ( http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/XFX+... )

2) XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 (Reference) 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card ( http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Graphics+Card... )

as you can see the reference design would look the best in any case.... however the first card has a decent fan which must help with the cooling....... which is the better ?
many thanks guys !

Your PSU if fine, but I am unfamiliar with the brand name so I'll assume it is of average quality.

I prefer the reference design because the hot air is exhausted out of the back of the card instead of being dumped into the case for other fans to exhaust out.

Your power supply is fine no worries there. Which card to get, well as said the reference card will exhaust the air out the back of the case so i would also go with that one.
