Currently running 11.5 driver. Did all the driver clearn/driver sweeper/ fresh reinstall yadda yadda.

Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered. <<<

freezes for a few seconds and then comes back up like nothing happened. IT ONLY HAPPENS ON THE FIRST BOOT ie in the morning or turning on after being off for a while....any ideas anyone??


CPU- AMD AM3 Phenom II x4 955Be 3.2ghz

MOBO - Gigabyte 880GM-USB3

GPU - XFX Radeon 1GB DDR5 5770

RAM - 2x2GB G.Skill 1600mhz

PSU - Seasonic M12 II 80plus Bronze 520watts

HDD - Seagate SATA 500gb and WD 1.5TB SATA

I had this happen once before, never did find out why exactly it does it, i mean i know why it does it it says so but the exact reason.... no idea. Personally i turned the notification off.
Sorry i cant be of more help maybe someone else will have a better answer.

turns out it was "windows security essentials" uninstalled and now no crashes!

ok well...i did this thing where i turned up the idle clocks from 157/300 to 400/900 and now it's fine!
