Planning to by a new graphic card:

Which one is better by your opinion:
http://www.amazon.com/XFX-Radeon-DisplayPort-PCI-Expres...

or
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-PCI-Express-Graphics...

I am working with dell u2711, but I'm not planning to play on maximum resolution in any case.
My price limit was 150$ but I think 30 extra bucks will make a lot of difference, am I right?

Whats your full system specs?(CPU/RAM/Power supply/etc.)

What games do you play?

By technical specs the 6870 is faster but that doesn't really mean anything.Only way to know which card is better is to read some benchmarks of the games you play.

I'm building my system right now:
Intel i7-2600k
ASUS P8P67 PRO
Corsair Vengeance Blu 8 GB PC3-12800 1600mHz
INTEL SSD160GB 320serias
Western Digital 2 TB Caviar Green

And one of this cards.
BTW, any suggestion for system modification is welcome.

I do a lot of programming and a little of video encoding.
Which games will be played I don't know yet, but there are different users so different games.

What power supply have you picked out?

If it's mostly for Video Encoding then either one i'm sure will be fine.I would go with which either one is cheaper.

I took:

Corsair Enthusiast Series 650-Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply compatible with Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and AMD platforms 650TX v2

You think this one will be enough?

If only a little video encoding, i sgguest you drop down your cpu to i5 2500k. Will give you 99% performance in games vs the i7 for 100$ less. i7 is much better in video encoding and stuff.
IMHO, get the i5 and the gtx 560ti or ati 6950 2gb. You will be much more happy. :)
