Stock vs Tx2 compound

I recently purchased all the components for my new pc (first time build ) and while i was searching for some combo deals or freebies, i stumbled along the phenom ii 965 and Tuniq Tx2 compound, basically free compound, so what i wanted to know was, would the stock compound from the heatsink and fan work just as fine as the Tuniq Tx2? i DONT plan to OVERCLOCK
Like, which would allow for, example, longer lasting cpu
It seems better to use brand compound vs stock compound.

The stock compound is fine! If you ever overclock then an aftermarket cooler is recommended/needed the paste itself is not going to do the trick alone.
