Yeah So i have the i7 920
I got this in august 2009 and Today I was doing a full proper cleaning of my system(I have done it earlier
)
I noticed my heat'sink for the processor was quite dirty so I took it out and the thermal paste has become powdery....
Now after cleaning it(I didn't touch the thermal paste....just from the outside)I tried to put it back but one of the holder things wasn't going inside properly but it's in there quite firmly.
I also took out my RAM and cleaned it with a damp cloth,dried it and put it back in.
Now I try to switch my computer on I hear beeps
1 long,one short,1 long and one short(PEEE,POOON,PEEE,POON)(LOL)
And the computer just shuts down after that.
What have I done wrong?
BTW it is a custom built PC.....
