How to connect mini pci wireless card to desktop

Putting a mini pcie wireless card from a laptop to a desktop makes no sense because the slot adapter to convert the mini pcie to pcie x1 can cost as much as the desktop wireless adapter and it will be awkward trying to fit the slot adapter in your computer case.

In other words, just get a desktop wireless adapter.
