Approximate Purchase Date: A month or so.

Budget Range: $250 or so; the less, the better. On an extreme budget.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Light gaming, general internet activities. Nothing too insane.

Parts Not Required: Monitor, CD drive, speakers, keyboard, OS

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com, tigerdirect.com, amazon.com

Parts Preferences: Going to be using an AMD CPU so....

Overclocking: Yes

Additional Comments: Want something simple and cheap. I know this won't be an AMAZING computer -- but I've been playing games like WoW on a Dell Laptop on low settings with a horrible FPS. I am going to be AMAZED if I can even turn the graphics up to medium, so I am not expecting more than I will get from this! I'm not planning anything too hardcore for this. Even if some of you with crazy expensive computers do not think it will be AMAZING, I probably will find it incredible. Haha.

Here are the parts I have picked out. I am new to this, so PLEASE let me know if they will not fit together, or if something around the same price/cheaper will be better for me! Thank you so much!

Here's something that will perform better and at that same $300 price.
Crucial Ballistix 4GB - $25

Biostar N68S3+ - $45

Gigabyte SGCC Black - $32

Cooler Master 460W - $33

Athlon II x2 250 - $60

Seagate Barracuda 500GB - $40

Comes out to $300. This will perform better at games because of the 5670. I'd recommend this build over yours because of that really cheap Case+PSU combo, you don't want a cheap case nor, a cheap PSU. If you want, you can use everything in your build (If you trust that cheap PSU), but I really recommend you drop that 8GB to the 4GB RAM, and get the 5670 instead of that GT 430.

Something to show you how much better the 5670 is than the GT 430 -

Just realize at that budget, you will spend more money in the long run than if you bought something around $500. That is becuase it will be obsolete much more quickly and will need to be replaced soon. Also if you go for something around $500 you will get much more performance/dollar. of course if all you want to play is WoW then maybe the long run does not matter to you.
