Thanks in advance!

I'm building a PC with the below components. The only thing I'm stumped on is a power supply. Any thoughts on something adequate for the system?

AMD Athlon X3 455
MB ASROCK M3A770DE 770+SB710 RT
VGA SAPPHIRE|100293L HD5570 1G RT
2x2 GB DDR3
DVD Burner

Picking a power supply has been making me nervous...

A power supply is one of the most important parts of your build. If you cheap out on a PSU, you are risking failure or damage to your other components.

Given your setup, you don't need a ton of power. This PSU by corsair would serve you well:

If you want to objectively, accurately and scientifically determine what PSU power is required for your Vid card and PC in both watts and 12v rail amps., the forum Utility link below will show you how easy it is to calculate this information and objectively determine which PSUs are quality built, reliable PSUs that can meet your needs. Be advised that the available 12v rail amps. is just as important as the total PSU wattage. You need both to be correct.

So... to see if I learned something...

Taking blade's recommendation, the CX430 has 28A on the 12V rail. My 5570 card will run 43W at max, so about 3.6A. Add 15A for the rest of the system and 5A for safety, that will get me 23.6A.

Golden, right?

Yessir, should be smooth sailing.

Corsair uses quality parts, so you shouldn't have to replace it anytime soon.

Good luck!
