Power supply nomenclature, board markings

Hello! On a power supply board, outputs of voltages are marked in various places, such as +5v next to some of the solder terminals. Voltages for power supplies are typically +5.1, +3.3, +12.0, and -12.0. Some power supplies have a 25v supply (as on some Macs, for the ADC connector for the monitor). I saw one terminal marked '12VN'. Would anyone know with certainty what 12VN means?

Yeah, I'll go with that in the interim, but I'm going to pull it apart and see if I can trace it on the board anyway, because the strange part is that this power supply does not have a negative feed listed on it's output label, so there is no 12 volt negative available. Which leaves the possibility it's a ground, but right next to this lead is a small bundle of black wires clearly marked -12V. This wire is purple. So I'm going to do the extra work to see if I can determine anymore on this. In the meantime, I'm going to leave the thread open a bit longer in case.
