I like parts of both builds. but I think most of the combo's in Why_Me's build may be gone in a couple of weeks when the OP drops the hammer.

the things I would change ScrewySqrl's build is the the HDD, it's weak. I would opt for the Samsung F3 in Why_Me's build. I would aslo go with the Rosewill CHALLENGER case.

Both those hdd run off 500gb platters, the performance is pretty similar.

the F3 has 32mb of cache so it will be much faster. in addition to it being faster you also get double the storage.
